ABOUT GRACE

Grace College and Theological Seminary is an evangelical Christian community of higher education, which applies biblical values in strengthening character, sharpening competence, and preparing for service.

Grace Theological Seminary established by Dr. Alva J. McClain appointed the first president in July 1937 After the change in location at Winona Lake, IN. in 1939, the seminary experienced steady growth, even during the years of World War II. 그레이스 신학교는 알바 맥클레인 박사를 초대 총장으로 설립되었다. 1939년 위노나 레이크로 위치 변경 후 신학대학원은 제 2차 세계대전중에도 꾸준히 성장했다.

The seminary has the advantage of sharing a campus and administrative facilities with Grace College, an accredited four-year liberal arts college with a strong Christian emphasis. It was under the sponsorship of Grace Theological Seminary that Grace College came into existence in 1948. 그레이스신학교는 기독교 신앙를 기초로 한 공인된 4년제 인문대학인 그레이스대학교와 함께 교정 및 행정시설을 공유하고 있다. 1948년 그레이스대학교는 그레이스신학대학원의 후원으로 설립되었다.

Grace Theological Seminary is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the Association of Christian Schools International, the International Association for Continuing Education and Training currently has candidacy status with the Association of Theological Schools. 그레이스신학대학원은 북중앙대학 및 학교 고등학습 위원회(Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools), 국제기독교학교협회(Association of Christian Schools International), 지속교육과 훈련을 위한 국제연합회(International Association for Continuing Education and Training), 그리고 신학교 협의회(ATS: Association of Theological Schools)의 승인을 받았다.

One of the seminary’s primary goals is that all institutional activities be surrounded with an attitude of prayer and devotion centered in Him. Not only chapel services and prayer meetings, but also every class, every task, and even examinations, should be, by God’s grace, avenues of spiritual blessing through which His presence may be felt and His will realized. 신학대학원의 가장 중요한 목표 중 하나는 모든 활동이 성령 중심으로 기도와 헌신의 태도로 진행되어야 한다는 것이다. 하나님의 은혜로 예배와 기도회뿐만 아니라 각 수업, 모든 과제물, 그리고 시험조차 그의 존재가 느껴지고 그의 뜻이 깨달아지는 영적 축복이 임하는 통로가 되어야 한다.

To be eligible for consideration for the Doctor of Ministry program, the applicant must have a Seminary MA or M.Div. degree (3.0 GPA), and have full-time professional ministry experience (length varies depending on the degree). DOCTOR OF INTERCULTURAL STUDIES 문화교류학 박사과정

In order to be considered for enrollment in the Korean Online Doctor of Intercultural Studies program at Grace Theological Seminary, you must fulfill certain admissions requirements: 그레이스 신학교의 한국어 온라인 문화교류학박사과정에 입학하려면 다음의 자격요건을 충족해야 한다.

An applicant must have obtained a Master of Divinity degree or its equivalent from an approved institution as determined by the Doctoral Committee. 지원자는 박사과정 입학사정 위원회가 인정하는 신학교에서 M. Div.혹은 M.Div.동등학위 이상의 학위소지자이어야 한다.

A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a four-point scale) in the applicant’s previous academic work is required. A limited number of students may be admitted under academic restriction by the action of the Doctoral Committee, but they must maintain the GPA required for candidacy (3.0) to continue in the program. The applicant must currently be serving in a vocational ministry, having completed at least four years in full-time professional ministry since completing the M.Div. or its equivalent. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Doctoral Committee. 취득학점 평균은 3.0 이상 이어야 한다. 일부 지원자의 경우에 한해서는 입학 사정 위원회의 결의로 조건부 입학이 가능하다. 그러나 이 경우에도 평균 학점은 3.0 이상이 되어야 한다. 지원자는 현재 사역중이어야 하며, 4년 이상 사역의 경험을 갖추어야 한다. 예외조항은 개별적으로 다루어질 것이다.

Korean Online Doctor of Ministry 한국어 온라인 목회학 박사

Being a life-long learner should be a high priority for every Christian leader who wants to grow personally and stay relevant in ministry. The Korean Online Doctor of Ministry Program is an advanced professional degree program designed for the continuing development of missionaries, church planters, pastors, and Christian leaders. 기독교 지도자로서 지속적으로 성장하고 효과적인 사역을 감당하려면 평생동안 배워야 하는 것이 최우선 되어야 한다. 한국어 온라인 목회학 박사과정은 선교사들, 교회 개척자들, 기독교 지도자들을 위한 최적화된 전문 프로그램이다.

The Korean Online Doctor of Ministry program at Grace Theological Seminary is designed to enhance professional competence by expanding upon a foundation of theology training and ministry experience, to enable those Korean students who are engaged in vocational ministry to personally and professionally develop strengths, address areas of weakness, and increase overall leadership effectiveness. The curriculum is built around eight online seminars and a major degree project. 그레이스 신학교가 제공하는 한국어 온라인 목회학 박사과정은 신학과 사역의 경험을 기초로 한 전문 프로그램으로써 전문 사역에 헌신하고 있는 한국 학생들에게 자신의 장점을 극대화하고, 단점을 보완하여 지도자로서의 역량을 최대화 하게 할 것이다. 과정은 온라인 세미나 8과목과 논문으로 구성되어 있다.

Intercultural Studies Concentration 선교전공

The Korean Online Doctor of Ministry Intercultural Studies is intended for students who desire further professional development as Christian leaders, pastors, church planters, and missionaries. Students will acquire an advanced understanding of the relationship of theological studies to cross-cultural morality and ethics and cross-cultural conflict management. Students will also demonstrate a complex perception of cross-cultural leadership skills in the areas of contextualization and administration. 선교전공 목회학 박사과정은 사역지에서 지도자로, 목회자로, 교회 개척자로, 선교사로 섬기기를 원하는 한국학생들을 위한 전문 과정이다. 학생들은 이 과정을 통해 신학과 타문화권에서의 가치관, 윤리와 타문화권에서 발생하는 갈등의 해소법 등에 대해 배우게 될 것이다. 그리고 학생들은 타문화권에서의 지도력 개발에 관계된 상황화와 응용 기술을 습득하게 될 것이다.

Pastoral Studies Concentration 목회전공

The Korean Online Doctor of Ministry Pastoral Studies is designed to strengthen pastors in their personal spiritual vitality and sharpen their skills in the areas of ministry vision, strategy, alignment, and execution. An intentional focus will be upon effective pastoral care including disciple-making strategy, conflict resolution, ministry to the suffering and grieving, interpersonal relationship skills, spiritual formation in small groups, and pastoral counseling. 한국어 목회학 온라인 박사과정은 목회자들로 하여금 개인적 영성생활, 사역에서의 비젼과 전략, 우선순위와 실행에 대해 효과적으로 대처할 수 있도록 할 것이다. 특히, 제자삼기 사역, 갈등해소, 고통당하는 자들을 위한 사역, 대인 관계 기술, 소그룹의 영성관리 등을 포함하여 효과적인 목회자 케어를 중점적으로 다루게 될 것이다.

Doctor of Intercultural Studies 문화교류학 박사

The Korean Online Doctor of Intercultural Studies degree is intended to prepare individuals for positive and influential leadership, relationships of trust, and biblical ministry in intercultural contexts either in denominational or interdenominational structures through study and applied learning in the socio-cultural and theological disciplines of missiology. The Korean Online Doctor of Intercultural Studies program provides students with expertise in intercultural issues and missiological strategies and paradigms for effective biblical ministry and for developing cultural intelligence for relevant problem-solving in receptor cultures. 한국어 온라인 문화교류학 박사과정은 타문화권 사역에서 선교학의 사회문화적이고 신학적인 훈련을 통해 학생들이 교단 혹은 초교파 교단 선교부 소속 선교사로서 긍정적이고 영향력있는 지도자, 신뢰를 기반으로 한 지도자가 되도록 준비시키는 프로그램이다. 한국어 온라인 문화교류학 박사과정은 교차문화와 관련된 주제들, 선교학적 전략, 효과적인 성경적 사역에 전문성을 갖도록 함으로써 현지 문화권에서 발생하는 제반 문제를 적절하게 해결하도록 고안된 프로그램이다.

The Doctor of Intercultural Studies program (38 hours) requires 10 courses (3 credit hours per course) and the Professional Research Project (8 hours) to complete the program. The six core courses are Intercultural Communication; Cultural Anthropology for Ministry; History of Christian Mission; Biblical Theology of World Mission; Contextualization for Ministry; Doctoral Research Methods. The four concentration courses are Cross-Cultural Leadership Development; Church Planting and Growth; Modern Trends in Global Mission; Spiritual Conflict. 문화교류학 박사과정은 10과목 이수(과목당 3학점)와 논문 (8학점) 총 38학점으로 구성되어 있다. 6개의 필수과목은 교차문화 의사소통, 사역을 위한 인류학, 기독교 선교역사, 선교신학, 사역을 위한 상황화, 논문 연구방법론이다. 4개의 전공과목은 타문화권 리더십 개발, 교회개척과 성장, 세계선교 동향, 영적갈등이다.
